Noelle Ursel is one of Mad Barn’s team of qualified equine nutritionists that are always available to help you with your horse’s diet. You can submit your horse’s information at https://madbarn.com/analyze-diet/ for help with their diet.
Noelle has had a burning passion for all things horses since the age of 8. From taking riding lessons and attending horseback riding camps to finally getting a horse of her own, horses have always had a special place in Noelle’s heart. She is now the proud owner of a Welsh Thoroughbred cross named Cleopatra, her heart horse.
Noelle grew her interests in equine nutrition and physiology while she attended the University of Guelph studying Animal Science. Through working at different boarding facilities, caring for her own horse and volunteering in equine research, she has become determined to learn as much as she can about how humans can help their horses live their healthiest lives.
With an Animal Science degree in hand, Noelle will continue to learn more about equine nutrition so that she can help horse owners make the most informed feeding decisions.

I think that Mad Barn, as a company, is really in a good position to make a beneficial impact on the horse nutrition industry. I find that a lot of horse owners are really overwhelmed — there's a lot of information out there — and so they can come to Mad Barn and speak with someone one-on-one, and really just get the fundamentals down in a way that's science-based and easy to understand.

There are so many free resources that we offer, like our nutrition consultations, free ration balancing software Mad Barn Feed, and we're always available to talk if you have any questions or specific concerns you have with your horse.

I love how all the ingredients in all the Mad Barn products are really well-researched, provided in the right quantities to actually have a beneficial effect, and are just really accessible for any horse owner.

Over the years, I've seen so many amazing transformations. These horses — their owners are so much happier, and the horses look amazing. They're shiny, their hooves are growing really well, and they're dealing with fewer health issues. I believe that we're really making a difference.
