Dr do Valle has dedicated her life to horses and practices currently TCVM and other holistic techniques, by appointment only. She strives to balance the energetics of the horse body so it can restore itself to its ideal health status. She uses acupuncture, Tui-na, herbology, food therapy, macrobiotics, nutraceuticals and phytotherapics, as well as rehabilitation techniques and exercise conditioning development. Dr do Valle is finishing her second Masters of Sciences, this time in TCVM and studying about the effects of Traditional Chinese veterinary Medicine in the elite level jumper horse. Her fist MS degree was obtained at Cornell University after researching about the pathophysiology of the dorsal displacement of the soft palate in horses, which lead to the “tie forward” surgical technique. She got het DVM degree from the prestigious Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil shortly before moving to the USA in 1990. Once obtained the ECFVG certification by the CPE at Oklahoma State University, she also got her DVM license and USDA accreditation in Massachusetts, Georgia and New York.
