Alecia McAtee, DVM

Dr. Alecia McAtee is an Associate Veterinarian who has been with TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital since 2018. Dr. McAtee grew up on her family’s farm and ranch in the northwest corner of Kansas called St. Francis. She completed both her undergraduate and veterinary school at Kansas State University.

Dr. McAtee grew up riding horses. Initially she showed in AQHA all-around events and then switched to reined cowhorse. She took time off while in school but has returned to showing working cowhorse. While in undergraduate she participated on the K-State Equestrian team.

Dr. McAtee completed an equine internship after veterinary school and stayed on at that hospital for a while. She is also certified in veterinary chiropractic care. Her interests include chiropractic, lameness, and preventative care.

Dr. McAtee and her husband, Joel, reside near Manhattan along with their toddler, dog, cat, and horse. (Source)
