Alex Emerson, DVM

Dr. Alex Emerson grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada, playing hockey and showing horses at the local shows. He attended the University of Kentucky for undergraduate studies while working in the thoroughbred racing industry. Dr. Emerson graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 after completing a preceptorship at Palm Beach Equine Clinic. After developing a sports medicine practice in Kentucky and the Midwest, Dr. Emerson decided to join his friends at Palm Beach Equine Clinic in 2015. He is a proud member of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP).

Dr. Emerson enjoys playing polo, hockey and golf when he is not working with horses or shuttling his two sons to the hockey rink. (Source)
