Alexandra Fromme, DVM

Dr. Ali was born and raised in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. She attended Purdue University for her undergraduate studies, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences in 2015. A sports enthusiast, she played club volleyball for Purdue during her three years of undergraduate studies.

Dr. Ali stayed at Purdue for her veterinary education and graduated in 2018 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine. She received three awards following completion of her clinical year rotations – Indiana Association of Equine Practitioners Award for Exceptional Proficiency and Professionalism in equine Practice, The American College of Veterinary Surgeons Foundation Student Surgery Award for Excellence in Large Animal Surgery and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Certificate of Clinical Excellence in recognition of outstanding knowledge and clinical ability in veterinary internal medicine.

Following graduation, Dr. Ali completed a one-year hospital internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY. The internship focused on advanced lameness and diagnostic imaging, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and neonatal care, emergency and critical care, inhalant and injectable anesthesia and more.

Dr. Ali is excited to enter into practice with her uncle, Dr. Kurt Fromme. She is looking forward to meeting you and caring for your horses in Northern Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana! (Source)
