Alexandra Maracic

Alexandra Maracic, trainer and owner of Amara Equestrian, was born and raised on Long Island. At the age of 9, she began competing with a heavy focus on the equitation, while catch riding both hunters and jumpers for a number of top professionals. Starting her equitation career at the age of 11, she competed at seven Maclay Regionals, Medal Finals, and Maclay Finals. She also competed at 5 USET Finals, which led her to a Silver Medal for a consecutive number of wins. In 2013, she placed fourth at the USEF Medal Finals and her top mount at the time, Zjappoo Sow, was awarded Best Equitation Horse. Her resume includes placings from the major equitation finals to the international Grand Prix level. More recently, she was 5th in the OSF 2* NY Welcome Stake, double clear and 9th in the 2* Grand Prix, 8th in the 3* 1.50m and won the Princeton National Grand Prix aboard Amara Equestrian owned, Conventa.
