Alyssa Tompkins

Alyssa began riding at the age of 7 in her home state of Ohio and by age 10 was eventing. She brought along many youngsters in both eventing and dressage. She ventured down to FL to become a Working Student at Valhalla Farm. This is where she learned of her love of breeding and soaked up all the knowledge she could. She was able to learn all aspects of breeding from Stallion and Mare Management to foaling and raising of youngsters all from one of the nations top breeders. She returned to Valhalla as Breeding Manager and Trainer a few years later after continuing in training, teaching lessons, and breeding in a few other locations. In 2008 Alyssa became the Breeding and overall Barn Manager of Garner Creek Farms in Ranger, TX. This was an outstanding opportunity and where she fell in love with Hanoverians. Alyssa continues to ride and train dressage and is bringing along her 4 year old Callie as well as breeding a couple mares each year. (Source)
