Amy J. Jergens, DVM DACVS

Dr. Jergens is staff surgeon for Jergens Equine and specializes in sports medicine and surgery. Dr. Jergens obtained her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois. Afterwards, she completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY and a surgical residency at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL.

After completing her veterinary and surgical training, Dr. Jergens was an assistant clinical professor of sports medicine and surgery at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Jergens is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. (Source)
