Dr. Reynolds is the founder of Rhythm Equine Veterinary Services. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, and completed an internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital (Edmond, Oklahoma) in 2015. Following this, she returned to the WCVM for a combined Master of Science and residency training program in Equine Practice. Dr. Reynolds’ research during this program focused on the use of shock wave therapy to treat navicular syndrome in horses, and her residency training program had a strong sports medicine focus.

Dr. Reynolds became board certified in Equine Practice in 2018, through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. As a board-certified equine specialist with a special interest in lameness and rehabilitation, Dr. Reynolds is passionate about keeping equine teammates comfortable through all life stages.

Dr. Reynolds’ athletic background in competitive swimming and power lifting provide her with additional insight in functional movement and training, as well as the importance of appropriate pain management in athletes. Dr. Reynolds’ diverse equine background provides a solid foundation for working with any type of horse – she has been involved in 4H, eventing, hunters, team roping, trail riding, and dressage, and has spent countless hours with Thoroughbred racehorses as a groom, exercise rider, and pony rider.

When Dr. Reynolds isn’t working with her patients, you can find her riding, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family, doing any number of activities on the home farm. She always has a project on the go! (Source)
