Dr. Baskett is co-owner and managing veterinarian at Tryon Equine. A board certified surgeon, she graduated from the University of Montreal and received her surgical training at the University of Georgia. She is an FEI event veterinarian for eventing, show jumping and dressage and is certified in veterinary acupuncture. She currently serves as the selector veterinarian for the Canadian Eventing Team.

Dr. Baskett is passionate about optimizing the performance of equine athletes in all disciplines. Her special interests include sport horse medicine and lameness as well as conditioning and rehabilitation for all disciplines. In her spare time Dr. Baskett enjoys eventing and jumper competitions along with her two daughters Emma and Katie. (Source)
