Anne DeNaples, VMD

Dr. Anne DeNaples was born and raised in Northeast PA. Her love of horses was fostered throughout her childhood as an avid rider. She brought her love of horses and her academic interests together while pursuing her studies.

Dr. DeNaples earned her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. After graduation, she completed a one-year clinical internship at Mid-Atlantic Equine Hospital in Ringos, NJ where she rotated through surgery, internal medicine, and ambulatory departments. She also had the opportunity to work as an associate at North Atlantic Equine, as a thoroughbred racetrack vet. During that period of time, she spent her time working at Monmouth, Belmont, and Aqueduct Racetracks.

In 2012, she opened her own ambulatory practice – a 24/7 emergency care facility that allowed her to fulfill many varied professional interests specializing in sports medicine including lameness evaluation, diagnostic imaging, intra-articular injections, upper airway evaluation, and pre-purchase exams.

When not working, Anne devotes her time to her family, she also enjoys riding her thoroughbred and caring for her dogs, cows, and pigs. (Source)
