Bailee Stanton, DVM, cVMA

Dr. Stanton has been competing in various equine disciplines from a very young age and most prominently has been involved in the sport of rodeo and training barrel racing horses. Her lifelong dedication to horses has not only involved numerous hours in the saddle and the full-time responsibility of caring for animals, it has also involved a community that is bound by a strong admiration for western heritage.

Dr. Stanton graduated with Great Distinction as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in June 2015 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (University of Saskatchewan). Throughout the four years required to attain her degree, and her internship afterwards, she gained the tools to become a well-rounded medical professional with both academic prowess and clinical skill.

Early on during veterinary school, she became involved in summer research on barrel racing horses and developed a keen interest in lameness and respiratory disorders prevalent in these athletes.

Dr. Stanton has the ability to work in a fast-paced and academically demanding profession, while maintaining a strong relationship with her clients and high standard of individualized care for each one of her patients. (Source)
