Barbara J. Page, DVM

Dr. Barbara Page was born in Michigan, but moved to Tucson in 1954. She graduated from the University of Arizona College of Agriculture in 1975, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Health Science, with High Distinction. In 1979, she graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was a member of Phi Zeta Veterinary Honorary and in the top 10% of her class.

Within a few years following graduation, she began her own practice, Tortolita Veterinary Services, and is now the founder and corporate owner of Adobe Veterinary Center. She served on the Arizona Veterinary Medical Examining Board from 2005-2010, attending monthly meetings reviewing veterinary cases. She is also the primary veterinarian for mammals at the Arizona Sonoran Desert museum, where she provides medical attention to the variety of native animals who reside in the zoological gardens.

Over the years, Dr. Page has been adopted by several species of animal – French bulldogs, horses (minis to drafts!), goats, llamas, and pot-bellied pigs, just to name a few. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, attending a good movie, camping, and water-skiing at the lake with her family. (Source)
