Billy Anderson

Billy Anderson started riding hunters at the age of 7, and spent his early teens just down the road at Forest Hill Stables, under the direction of Ann Johnson. Billy has been a professional in the horse world since he was 18, riding and training horses, braking young horses, braking harness horses, and teaching others to ride. He even spent 10 years as a polo groom. He worked in the commercial carriage industry for 18 years as a carriage driver, business manager and company owner. In 2002 he received his certification as an equine sports massage therapist, and in 2004 received his certification as an English saddle fitter, both from Animal Dynamics in Reddick, FL. Billy is currently a whipper-in for the Longreen Hunt club and has been an instructor here at Oak View Stables since 2012. (Source)
