Dr. Brandi Waheed became an associate veterinarian at The Stock Doc in July of 2010. She was born in Riverton WY, however, grew up in Gillette, WY on a ranch with a variety of different animals from horses, sheep, dairy and beef cattle, and dairy goats. From the time she can remember Dr. Waheed always wanted to be a veterinarian.

Background
Throughout high school she was active in FFA, 4-H, and rodeo and began working at the Animal Medical Center in Gillette. Dr. Waheed then graduated from Campbell County High School in 2001. From there Dr. Waheed attained her Associates of Science degree here at Central Wyoming College, then continued to the University of Wyoming to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-vet/Animal Science. She was then accepted into the Veterinary program at Colorado State University- Veterinary Teaching Hospital and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2009. Dr. Waheed then did an internship in Norman, OK at Interstate Equine Services where she gained more specialized experience in equine surgery and lameness, equine dentistry, equine reproduction, and internal medicine as well as everyday private practice techniques. Dr. Waheed is so excited to be back in Wyoming, practicing with great vets and a wonderful staff, and meeting all the great clients with their awesome animals! Dr. Waheed loves to be up in the mountains snowmobiling, fishing, four-wheeling, distance running and riding horses all with her husband and dog Beethoven! (Source)
