Bryan was born in Central Kentucky but was raised on a commercial cattle ranch in Western Colorado. He started shoeing ranch horses at age 15 and that quickly morphed into a fulltime shoeing business. He
received his DVM from Colorado State University in 2004. Following an internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital and employment at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital, he established Fraley Equine Podiatry. He
and his team have been providing quality hoof care nationally and internationally since 2009. Fraley Equine Podiatry has grown from just Bryan and his bookkeeper/mother to 6 talented and dedicated employees. Bryan’s practice focuses on the hoof care needs of the commercial Thoroughbred industry.

Bryan especially enjoys treating Thoroughbred broodmares with foot problems. He gets a great deal of satisfaction seeing their foals go on to become successful racehorses. Bryan has been a part of the comeback stories of many good racehorses including Paynter and Lady Eli. He enjoys developing new hoof care devices and is co-inventor of several patent-pending products that are helping horses around the world. Bryan is actively involved in the Thoroughbred breeding and racing industry. He and his wife Peden operate a small farm called Highlight Thoroughbreds in Paris, Kentucky where they focus on managing and breeding strong pedigreed broodmares with special needs. He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys hunting upland birds with his retriever Sarge. Lately, he appreciates traveling less and spending time with Peden and their daughters Adeline and Harrison.
