Caitlin Tenewitz, DVM

Dr. Tenewitz grew up on a large production farm in South Georgia where showing horses and participating in 4-H livestock activities led to her desire to become a veterinarian. She obtained her BSA in Animal Science from the University of Georgia and was a horsemanship rider for the UGA Varsity Equestrian Team. She continued her education at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her DVM in 2013. Upon graduation, Dr. Tenewitz completed a one-year surgical and ambulatory internship at Ocala Equine Hospital. She is interested in all areas of sports medicine and provides for the daily needs of our larger training- horse clients. Outside of work, she has recently been enjoying success in the show ring with her new horse. (Source)
