Dr. Cara Finstad grew up on a ranch in a small rural town in central Texas and spent most of her time roping, showing pigs, or playing sports. She attended Texas Tech University following high school and earned a B.S. in Animal Science while on the TTU horse judging team. Dr. Finstad was then accepted into the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2018. Looking for a new environment, she was eager to begin her employment with Franklin Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Finstad enjoys the challenge and variety in caring for any and all animals that walk through the door. When she is not working, she enjoys anything that involves being outdoors including team roping, hiking, and exploring her new home with her dog Rowdy! (Source)
