Education: BS University of Oregon

Geographic Area Serviced: Global

Area of Expertise: We only do permanent horse retirement - no temporary boarding or rehab. Our boarding model utilizes the Paddock Paradise track system where food, water and shelter are spread throughout a 20 acre area to maximize movement. The four pillars of wellness for us are movement, a balanced trim, a species-appropriate diet and herd living. We test all hay for low sugar/starch (available 24/7 in hay nets), supplement daily with a vitamin/mineral mix (California Trace Plus), flax oil, salt and other ingredients. We will administer any owner-supplied Rx. Horses are trimmed every 6 weeks, are groomed daily, given psyllium for 7 days quarterly and seen by a vet for wellness every 6 months (at owner cost). Horses are checked over twice a day. We send frequent photos and videos, and we have cameras around the property. I like to say the environment is as natural as possible yet highly managed. Horses continue to know their names because they hear them daily. We are licensed and insured and have limited spaces available.

Types of Horses: All except for minis due to having walk-throughs around the property
