Chad McGee, VMD

Chad McGee, VMD grew up in Massachusetts and New York and is a third-generation equine veterinarian. His grandfather, grandmother, and father were/are veterinarians. Dr. McGee’s grandfather, Dr. Francis McGee was well respected in New England for his lameness work as well as his prize-winning Standardbred horses and poultry; his grandmother was one of the first women veterinarians in New England. Some of Dr. McGee’s earliest memories include riding along on veterinary calls with his father and grandfather, which began before he could walk.

Naturally, Dr. McGee has always had a strong love of all animals and as a youngster, had many teams of working oxen and also a variety of show birds and dogs. Dr. McGee graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and founded McGee Equine Clinic in 2011.

Dr. McGee’s professional interests include lameness, dentistry, and preventative care. In his spare time, Dr. McGee enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren, three small children, dogs, horses, sheep, and goats. (Source)
