Charlene Vanessa Noll, DVM, MSME, DACVS

Crossroads Equine Hospital is happy to announce that our new equine surgeon, Charlene Noll DVM MSME, has joined the hospital on a full-time basis, specializing in elective and emergency surgery and lameness evaluations. With a background in mechanical engineering, she brings a unique and valuable set of skills to equine surgery. With an additional interest in equine medicine, she is also seeing dentistry, ophthalmology, and general medicine cases as well.

Dr. Noll is originally from Springfield, Illinois, where she grew up riding jumpers. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Engineering in 2003, Mount Holyoke College with a BA in Applied Mathematics in 2004, and Stanford University with a MS in Mechanical Engineering in 2006. In 2010, she decided to change the direction of her career and enrolled at UC Davis, where she graduated with a DVM in 2014. She completed a large animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center in 2015 and an equine rotating internship at North Carolina State University in 2016. She recently completed her equine surgery residency at UC Davis this past July and began work at Crossroads in August.

Dr. Noll lives in Anderson with her partner Zachary and their two dogs and two cats. (Source)
