Charles K. Cantrell, DVM

Dr. Cantrell Graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and started practicing at Ocala Equine Hospital at its inception in 1997. His primary veterinary interests are lameness and sport related injuries with emphasis on juvenile Thoroughbreds. His practice also includes many other aspects of general practice such as broodmare management and overall wellness. Dr. Cantrell is the partner in Ocala Equine Hospital that assumes management responsibilities in administration.

Outside of the veterinary practice, Dr. Cantrell has been an active owner and breeder of Thoroughbreds since 1998 and owns a farm in Anthony, FL. When not working, his hobbies include spending time on the water with his family and competing in horseback pointing dog field trials. (Source)
