After graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 2009, Dr. Chase Ratliff began his veterinary career in a mixed animal practice and equine referral facility in Northern California. He spent three years there honing his animal husbandry skills that began on the farm where he was raised in Colorado City, Texas. He received advanced training in Equine Dentistry, in addition to managing general and specialty cases of just about every animal that walked through the doors. In 2013 he returned to West Texas and began working at a mixed animal practice in Winters. In 2015, the opportunity to purchase Chimney Rock Animal Hospital from Dr. Allen Williams arose and Dr. Ratliff decided this would be the best step to advance his career in caring for and curing animals. In order to provide the highest level of care, Dr. Ratliff has undertaken additional education in animal chiropractry and is an American Veterinary Chiropractic Association certified veterinarian. Dr. Ratliff’s professional interests include small animal and equine musculoskeletal and orthopedic dysfunction, pain management and rehabilitation, and beef cattle production. In his limited spare time, Dr. Ratliff enjoys reading, helping his daughters raise their show heifers, participating in rodeo events, and team roping. (Source)
