Chris Ryan, DVM

Dr. Chris Ryan grew up in San Diego County, California showing horses on the Paint and Pinto circuits. He then attended the University of California at Davis, where he was a member of the school’s arena polo team. He was accepted into veterinary school at UC Davis and graduated with an equine focus. Dr. Ryan went on to accept an internship at Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic in Monterey County, California, where he focused on equine dentistry, lameness, surgery, and developed a love for equine ophthalmology. Thereafter, he moved to Texas with Sara and developed his appreciation and skill for small animal medicine, surgery, and preventative care. Dr. Ryan provides his advanced dentistry knowledge and skills to LERVS and he is also available for equine ophthalmic examinations, since he has a special interest in ophthalmology of horses as well.
