Christina Lehner, DVM, PLGC, CHPV, CVA

My love and passion for animals began at a very young age. I was always intrigued at their unconditional love and how their eyes seemed to reveal a deep understanding.

I pursued a biology degree from Concordia University, and went on to veterinary school. In 2009, I graduated from UW- Madison with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Since then, I’ve been a practicing companion animal veterinarian. In 2016, I became certified in veterinary acupuncture and in 2018 I was in the inaugural class to be certified in Pet Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPV).

I cherish the ability to lovingly & compassionately care for these beloved creatures. For as much joy as our pets give us, one of the hardest things to do is saying goodbye. I still vividly remember how difficult it was to lose “Tinker”, our miniature schnauzer from childhood. It took me a long time to grieve, but in time the sorrow faded and was replaced by happy memories.
