Christy Barnes, DVM

Dr. Christy Barnes learned to ride and care for horses near Cobourg, Ontario. Christy obtained a degree in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph and took a detour into teaching with a degree in Education from the University of Toronto. After teaching grades 7-12 for several years she returned to the equine industry, graduating with honours from the Ontario Veterinary College. Christy spent time in the United States developing her particular interests in wellness, dentistry and lameness. (Source)
