Cole B. Sandow, DVM

Dr. Sandow graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, he completed a surgery internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute before working with a racetrack practice based in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Sandow then returned to Hagyard to complete an Internal Medicine fellowship prior to beginning an equine surgery residency at LSU. During his residency at LSU, he also earned a Master’s degree completing research on laminitis, condylar fracture repair, and intra-articular therapy. He received an Outstanding Surgical Resident award from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and a resident research award from the Veterinary Orthopedic Society. Dr. Sandow has also delivered several presentations at state and national veterinary meetings. He is board certified in large animal surgery with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. (Source)
