Crista Bandini

She began riding in Houston, Texas where she worked under Ragan Roberts, Pauline Cook, Keith Merifield and Teri Bludworth. She then went on to have a successful hunter jumper business for over forty years. During this time, her students at Glendaloch Farm won numerous state, zone and national awards.

In 2000, Crista left the industry to pursue a career on the thoroughbred race track. She was a working rider for such well known trainers as Steve Asmussen, one of the leading trainers in the United States. She also worked for Michelle Lovell, Mike Stidham among various others. As a jockey she rode horses for trainers such as Danny Pish and Brian House.

In the fall of 2006, Crista moved to the Texas Hill Country and joined Madrone Ranch Stables as a riding instructor and barn manager. After three years at Madrone, she felt compelled to restart Glendaloch Farm again. She has relocated to ATX Equine to fulfill this dream. Crista offers an array of lessons to the hunter jumper enthusiast, as well as training and showing your horse. All levels are welcome at Glendaloch Farm which offers lessons that run the gamut from horsemanship to horse shows in a relaxed, fun atmosphere where everyone is friendly. (Source)
