Crystal Martinez, DVM

Dr. Crystal Martinez, a North Carolina native, graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She then spent two years practicing mixed animal medicine before rejoining the HVC team in 2018 where she was previously a veterinary assistant for 5 years. Dr. Martinez enjoys interactions with patients on a daily basis with special interests in surgery and ophthalmology. Dr. Martinez is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist specializing in pain management alternatives.

Dr. Martinez is the proud parent of 3 four-legged children: Cisco, her handsome paint gelding, Lou, her boisterous beagle basset mix, and Lolli, her attentive guard hound mix. In her spare time, Dr. Martinez enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and baking. (Source)
