Cyra J. Noorani Erwin, DVM

Dr. Erwin joined Millbrook Equine in 2007. Originally from Marblehead, MA, Dr. Erwin discovered her affinity for all things equine at the age of nine, when she took her first riding lesson. She competed as a hunter / jumper and equitation rider, and also spent several years on the ground, working with horses as a show groom. She graduated from Duke University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She gradu­ated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2006. Following graduation from veterin­ary school, she completed an internship at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center in Ringoes, NJ.

In July, 2007, Dr. Erwin came to Millbrook Equine. Her professional interests include sports medicine, diag­nostic imaging, rehabilit­ation, dentistry, and ophthalm­ology. In 2011, Dr. Erwin became a partner in Millbrook Equine. Outside of work, she is devoted to her family. All of the Erwins (adults, kids, and dog), enjoy playing outside, swimming, and going for walks.
