Danielle Benn

Dr. Danielle Benn is from Houston, Texas and grew up riding and competing in dressage on Teddy, her Dutch Warmblood. She began endurance racing just before vet school and looks forward to becoming more involved in that community.

As a 6 year-old, Danielle was told she couldn’t be a horse when she grew up and decided becoming an equine vet was the next best thing! She attended Berry College for undergrad and earned her DVM from Texas A&M University.

Returning to Texas for vet school made Danielle realize she missed having four distinct seasons, so she decided to head back east after graduation and is looking forward to an actual fall this year! She is excited to join the team at 3H, continue honing her skills and meet all your wonderful animals!

Danielle enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary medicine and is especially passionate about sports medicine and rehabilitation. She is joined in North Carolina by Derby, her sweet, playful GSP and Sinbad her extroverted Half-Arabian. (Source)
