Danielle van der Werf

As the owner/coach of STAL VDW I began my riding career at the age of 4. Through years of work and determination I progressed from competing in the A pony circuit to the Grand Prix ring at venues such as Spruce Meadows, Thermal California, WEF in Wellington, Florida, and many points in between.

I have been coached by many talented riders along my jouney including Olympians Lisa Carlsen and Laura Balisky; World Cup riders Chris Pratt and Darrin Dlin, and have many other valuable influences. I continually work with top coaches to learn and further develop myself, and my clients.

For those clients who like to shop abroad, I also have the experience and contacts for importing horses from Europe.

While I pursued my goals as a rider I further studied at the University of Alberta and obtained my Degree in Psychology. I believe the balance between my equine and academic career to be very beneficial for future success.

As a coach I am invested daily with my clients and their horses, to build the strongest partnerships possible. It is further with my amazing staff and clientele that STAL VDW runs and grows as a Team. (Source)
