Deanna Scheller, DVM

Dr. Deanna Scheller grew up in northern Wisconsin where she always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. After years of shadowing at vet clinics, volunteering at humane societies, and going to horse camp during the summer, she went to the University of Minnesota Twin-Cites where she received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She then went to the University of Wisconsin- Madison School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with her veterinary degree. While she was in vet school she also underwent training in acupuncture, which has sparked a love for complementary medicine in the care of her patients. She joined the GBE team in August of 2019 and moved up to Canada with her fiance. The two of them love the area, and enjoy hiking and snowshoeing with their two dogs. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are ophthalmology, dentistry, and complementary medicine. She looks forward to meeting you and your horse and becoming part of their health care team!
