Dr. Bickel graduated from the Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She then did an internship at Colorado State University where she did Large Animal Medicine and Emergency work. She worked at an ambulatory large animal practice in the Finger Lakes region of New York for several years before deciding to return to Michigan. Prior to starting her own practice, she was an associate of Dr. James Irving, at Oakdale Large Animal clinic in Homer. Her interests include lameness, laminitis, and equine behavior.
