You will hear the words “Balanced Horsemanship” used quite a bit if you spend much time at Dixon Stables. That’s because it really is the foundation to all of our success.

Whether it’s in our Horse and Mule Training, Horse Riding Lessons or our Horsemanship Apprenticeship Program, this balance is an important part of the relationships we build with our equine partners.

We’re proud of the horses and mules that we’ve trained at our Athens, Al facility over the years and we’re equally proud of the people that we’ve helped teach and watch grow into confident, capable horsemen and horsewomen.
