Dream Walkers Equine Therapy Center

Dream Walkers Equine Therapy Center focuses on the safety of our riders. Horseback activities use the rocking motion and the horses gait to create and improve the movement in the riders everyday standing and walking. Riding encourages muscle tone, balance, motor coordination and posture by making the rider move in the proper way.

Equine Therapy can also help to overcome fear, anxiety and help families overcome trauma. This type of therapy helps build and strengthen coping skills and help build a sense of self control through nonverbal communication with the horse is especially important when someone has experienced a traumatic event and cannot find or chooses not to verbally communicate their feelings.
