Drew Hunnisett, DVM

Dr Drew Hunnisett has lived in Simcoe County for over 30 years and has been a large animal veterinarian in the county since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1988. He worked with Dr Gerry Honeywood at the Allandale Veterinary Clinic from 1988 to 1995 before operating Hillsdale Veterinary Services from 1995 to 2012. He returned to work with Honeywood and Warder in 2013, and purchased the practice with Dr Stoddart in 2018.

Throughout his many years in large animal practice, Dr Hunnisett has gained experience and expertise across a variety of large-animal disciplines. His areas of special interest are equine dentistry, reproduction, pre-purchase exams and general surgery. He is committed to continuing professional development and considers himself privileged to serve our clients and their animals in the practice of large animal veterinary medicine.

Dr Hunnisett has been a member of the Quality Assurance Committee of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, and has been a peer reviewer of equine medical records for the College. He is a member of the The Ontario Association of Equine Practitioners and The British Equine Veterinary Association. (Source)
