Duncan F. Peters, DVM DACVSMR

Co-owner and founder, Dr. Peters is a leading authority on locomotor pathology, diagnosis, treatment, and managing sport horse health for optimum performance. He is a multi-discipline licensed Federation Equestrian Internationale (FEI) Veterinary Deligate and is FEI certified in dressage, eventing, jumping, driving, vaulting, and reining. Lexington welcomes Dr. Peters back as he returns from his role as Director of the Clinical Equine Sports Medicine Program and associate professor of Large Animal Clinical Sciences at Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Many of you know him from his tenure at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute as the Director of the Sport Horse Division and his time spend developing Pioneer Equine in Oakdale, CA. Dr. Peters enjoys assisting clients manage their sport horse programs, and he actively competes in hunter/jumper shows, fox hunts regularly and partakes in fly fishing when time is available. (Source)
