Edward Clay Powell, DVM

Dr. Ed Powell was raised in Maryville, Missouri and graduated from Maryville R-II High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Reproductive Physiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Ed Powell followed his father’s footsteps and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1993. Dr. Ed Powell joined the practice in 1993 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 20 years. Dr. Ed Powell enjoys all aspects of the practice, especially the reproductive services of all the animals.

Dr. Ed Powell serves on numerous veterinary committees and boards. Dr. Ed Powell is a member of various veterinary associations such as the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Missouri Medical Veterinary Association (MVMA), American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), Society of Theriogenology, and the Academy of Veterinary Consultants (AVC).
