Elizabeth Anne Hoose, DVM

Dr. Elizabeth attended Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo for undergraduate and obtained a BS in Animal Science while working at the university’s Dairy as a herdsman/milker. Following her bachelors, she caught the travel bug and attended the University of Glasgow, Scotland for her veterinary degree. She graduated in the Class of 2020 with her Bachelors of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (DVM equivalent). She completed an externship in Morocco at the American Fondouk charity where she treated a range of working equids. After returning to California, Dr. Elizabeth practiced as a mixed large animal veterinarian in Monterey and Santa Clara county before moving to Auburn to be closer to her beautiful niece Reagan and sister Claire.

Dr. Elizabeth has special interests in ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, and reproduction. Her favorite patients include donkeys, mini ponies, goats and sheep.

Dr. Elizabeth enjoys anything in the great outdoors. When she’s not at work, you can find her hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping with her corgi, Minnie! Dr. Elizabeth also enjoys dancing (country line dance, lindy hop, west coast swing, and collegiate shag) and gardening. (Source)
