Elizabeth Cumyn, BVM&S., MRCVS., MSc., BSc.

You may be surprised to learn that Dr. Cumyn didn’t always want to be a vet! She actually started her career in the human medical field. After working in medical research, she soon came to realize that she loves medicine but loves animals even more. So switching into a field that combines the two seemed like the perfect and obvious choice.

Now working as a veterinarian, Dr. Cumyn’s goal with every patient visit is to ensure her clients feel heard during their pet’s appointments. She strives for her clients to really feel that they are part of the process the whole way.

​When she isn’t at Signal Hill Animal Clinic, you can find Dr. Cumyn at home with her husband, their german shepherd Geordi La Forge, and their two very mischievous cats, Kevin Malone and Oscar Martinez. (Source)
