Emily Hughes, DVM

Dr. Emily Hughes graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She completed her last year of vet school at Texas A&M, but also received her undergraduate and master’s degrees from there. After graduating vet school, Dr. Emily completed her veterinary internship at Texas Equine Hospital in Bryan, Texas before joining our practice in June of 2020. She primarily does routine preventative care and wellness, but also sees lameness cases and has a greater interest in equine reproduction. Dr. Emily is also working to complete her Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist training to provide alternative medicine options for our equine patients and is a current member of TEVA, AAEP, and the AVMA.
