Emily Lewis

I was blessed to grow up in a family of 5 generations of horse owners. As a youth I showed POAs and moved on to the AQHA youth shows, where I continued showing pleasure horses and later Ranch horses for 30 years. I’ve also shown some lower level dressage and in recent years have been pursuing Western Dressage and qualified 2 horses for the WDAA world show in 2026. I enjoy training and showing in a variety of disciplines from pleasure, to reining, Ranch Riding, Hunter under saddle and western dressage. I truly believe that good riding is good riding no matter the tack, and I enjoy finding where each individual horse can be successful and helping them excel. In 2011 I took the plunge, left my desk job, bought a farm and started training horses full-time for the public. It has been the best time of my life and I am certain I am doing what I’m supposed to be doing. I start colts, make versatility ranch horses and pleasure horses, and help their owners learn to ride and show them successfully. My farm is in Eau Claire, WI and my business is called Lone Tree Farm Horse Training.

Area of Expertise: I specialize in transforming a good-moving pleasure horses into a successful Ranch horse. Specifically, Ranch Riding is my area of expertise and I've had success converting western and English pleasure horses into winning Ranch Riding horses. I believe my diverse background helps me to be uniquely qualified to do so.
