Eric Kates, DVM

Dr. Kates grew up in the Catskill Mountain region of New York State riding and showing Quarter Horses before attending Cornell University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1981. In 1983 he became owner and managing partner of the practice with the goal of growing it into an exceptional group of dedicated equine veterinarians committed to customer service in all equine disciplines. His practice consists mainly of race horses in NJ and Pennsylvania in the Spring and Summer and Florida in the winter with a focus on lameness and other performance related problems. (Source)
