Eric Priest

Trainer Eric Priest is a graduate of The University of Findlay, holding a bachelor’s degree in Equine Business Management and Western Equestrian Studies. Originally from Grover Hill, Ohio, Eric has travelled across the country to learn from a multitude of NRHA professionals and develop his own reining program. He began his focus on reining working as a college intern for top NRHA-pro, Matt Flarida. It was during this internship that Eric established a passion for the sport of reining. Upon graduation, he moved down to Texas and began starting and training colts up to three-year-olds for NHRA-pro, Tim McQuay. With a desire to spend more time in the show pen, Eric later began working for renowned showman and non-pro coach Dutch Chapman in Maryland. (Source)
