Dr. Erin Kolodziej grew up just outside of Calgary on an acreage with sheep, chickens, horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. She was a member of two local 4-H clubs that were large and small equine focused, riding in one club and showing and driving miniature horses in the other. She enjoys a good trail ride, working cattle and exploring the different Western disciplines in the saddle, and driving and training her miniature horses. Erin completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at the University of Alberta and pursued another degree in kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She graduated from the UCVM in June 2018 and is excited to continue working with her passion for horses as an equine veterinarian. When not at the clinic Erin also enjoys playing volleyball and basketball, rock climbing, hiking, running, biking, camping and traveling. Her areas of interest include equine sports medicine and lameness and she enjoys the diversity of work as a general equine practitioner. (Source)
