Erin Lohbeck, DVM

Dr. Lohbeck grew up outside of Cincinnati, OH as the classic lifelong animal lover, but gained interest in horses in high school. She began riding dressage and eventing, but she later became acquainted with combined driving and coaching teams. From there, she travelled the country as a professional groom for four-in-hand teams for six years, including participation in shows such as Devon Horse Show and Country Fair and the 2010 World Equestrian Games. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2013 with a BS in Biology and then went on to graduate with a DVM from The Ohio State University in 2018. She then completed an ambulatory internship with Dr Woodrow Friend and an internship/fellowship with the therio department before being hired as an ambulatory associate.
As an associate, her interests include general medicine, emergency medicine, neonatal medicine and reproduction. In her free time, Erin enjoys cooking and baking, squeezing in a trail ride or riding lesson when she can, and hanging out with her husband, Daniel, and dogs, Pippa and Layla. (Source)
