Evice Bolton, DVM

Dr. Evice Bolton grew up in the small seacoast town of North Hampton, New Hampshire. Growing up she had a strong love of animals and volunteered her time at a local animal shelter and therapeutic riding program. This prompted her to pursue a B.S. in Biomedical Science from the University of New Hampshire. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Bolton was involved in many facets of veterinary medicine including research, shelter medicine, wildlife and small and large animal general practice. These experiences solidified her decision to become a mixed animal veterinarian. Dr. Bolton went on to earn her DVM from Cornell University where she also worked in the Large Animal Surgery department and at the Dairy Farm. During veterinary school, she served as an intern with RAVS, a non-profit that provides free veterinary care on Native American Reservations. Dr. Bolton enjoys the opportunity to give back through veterinary medicine and hopes to continue throughout her career.

Dr. Bolton’s interests within the field of veterinary medicine include ultrasound, soft tissue surgery and small ruminant medicine. One of her favorite things about this profession is the variety. When she’s not working Dr. Bolton loves to hike with her mini poodle mix Teddy. She also enjoys working with clay to make wheel thrown ceramics and baking everything from cupcakes to sourdough. As a seacoast native, you’ll often find her and Ted at the beach. Dr. Bolton looks forward to joining the talented and dedicated team at SRH and meeting all their wonderful clients and patients.
