Freya P. Stein, DVM, DACVIM

Dr. Stein grew up riding horses and enjoying the outdoors in Afton, Minnesota. She earned her BA in Biology from Grinnell College in Iowa and her DVM from the University of Minnesota in 2008. Following graduation, she completed an internship at Bend Equine Medical Center in Bend, OR. Dr. Stein enjoyed private equine practice in California for the next couple of years before following a longtime interest in internal medicine. She completed a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at Oklahoma State University in July 2016, and has particular interests in neurology, neonatal medicine, respiratory disease and ophthalmology. She is excited to return to the Northwest to be a part of the MPEH team! In her free time, Dr. Stein enjoys hiking, cycling, riding (when she can borrow a horse), and training her border collie in agility. (Source)
