Gail Mahnke, DVM

Born and raised in Casper, Wyoming Dr. Mahnke completed her veterinary degree at Colorado State University in 1989. She later completed her Master’s degree in Wildlife Disease at the University of Georgia in 1991. Her love of the west brought her back to Wyoming where she worked as an associate veterinarian in mixed animal practices in Casper and Sheridan prior to starting her own practice.

Dr. Mahnke opened the doors of Casper Animal Medical Center in October of 1996. Since that time she has enjoyed the many facets of providing compassionate veterinary care for all types of animals and their owners. She became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2006 and having seen its tremendous benefits, she has become passionate about pursuing alternative therapies for animals.

She lives outside of town with her family, numerous horses, dogs, and cats. On her time off she enjoys yoga, riding her horses, going on pack trips in the mountains around Pinedale, and going to warmer places in the winter! (Source)
